because earth is revolving and at one time only it can receive sun rays at one part.place where will be the rays will be in summer season and place where sun rays are not,there will be winter

this is because of sun's position. if sun is in north hemisphere there is summer and opposite with the southern...... if sun is in south than there is summer and winter in north
