why are the some pashient of Diabetics treated by tha giving injection of insuline

➡️diabetes is either caused because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both...

➡️ insulin is responsible for maintaining blood glucose level . low levels of insulin can't maintain it . hence a patient has to take insulin from another source as injection.

♤ Insulin plays an important role in sugar metabolism. In some patients of diabetes , insulin secretion is reduced.

♤ Insulin injection is given to such patients to compensate for reduced insulin secretion in the body.

♤ Such cases of diabetes are called Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus ( IDDM ).
