Why are the states of motion and rest considered relative???
Answers
the state of motion and rest are considered as relative because in reality both are relative in nature as we can say that for example consider and railway platform you can say that you are in motion when you relate your motion with that railway station but you cannot say that you are in motion when you relate your state with the seats of the railway compartment because they also more together with you and they seem to be raised like you and hence this prove that states of motion and rest are relative
Answer:
States of motion are actually relative. The state of motion of an object depends on the perspective from which you are observing. For example, if a person is standing stationary on Earth , for him/her, the Earth is in rest but from the sun's perspective, the Earth is in motion.
