Ans. Adivasis are becoming increasingly marginalized because of the following two reasons: They follow a different culture, language and traditions from mainstream Indian society which leads us to wrongfully classify them as exotic, primitive and backward.

Reasons for which the tribals are moving to marginal areas.

• They are losing their land and entry to the forest areas and due to this , they have lost their regular source of income.
• They are losing their culture and tradition and because of lack of regular income , they're wondering into cities for the search of work.
• They're getting very meagre income which is not enough for the nourishment of them and their families and hence , trapped into the cycle of "poverty and deprivation".

• When forest were cleared for the purpose of mining , tribal community were displaced from that place.
• Wide areas of the forest were destroyed and came under the water.
• It resulted in the construction of dams in the time period of 1947.
• Due to this , several communities belonging from Uttar Pradesh , Jharkhand , Orissa were forcibly removed from their areas.
