wages for the labours of palampur os less than minimum wages because there is a much larger no. of farmers which do not have their on land and have to work on big farmers land . so for their livelihood they agree to work on low wages too.

In village palampur the people didn't get jobs only some of them were earning from selling some things but other people didn't have work but had to earn money for livelihood so they worked at bad conditions and also in minimum wages.
