In Palampur, the people donot get job during the busy seasons like harvesting, sowing. So, there is a great competition among the people for job. Many people work as farm labourers. Their wages are less because anyhow they need work and they accept less wages instead of asking for more. They have to work in the landowner's field as well as in their fields if they have taken loans from the landowner.
