Why are the Western ghats covered with thick evergreen forests while the Eastern ghats are covered by deciduous forests? plz give the both reason from western ghat and eastern ghat

When the wind reaches theeastern slope , it shed much of their moisture and they get warmer and results in negligible amount rainfall in the eastern slope.Due to this reason western slopes of thewestern ghats covered with thick forest and not theeastern slopes.
