why are the wings of hope ‘golden'?

“Still buoyant are her golden wings” means that it is possible that sometimes hope goes away but it will always return with the victory.

It will always uplift her spirit making her all strong. Here golden is used for hope as a metaphor because it returns with a trumpet that is said to be as precious as gold is.
