Explanation:

our soverign power is ours only by virtue and not a mercy or generosity of the British. So when we framed our constitution we inserted the words ''we the people of India'' . So we can say the source of soverign power of our constitution is ourselfs.

Answer:

The words "we the people of India " have been in the preamble to emphasise the fact that the actual authority of the Indian Constitution is in the hands of Indian people and belongs solely to them, and they are the major force behind the making of the Indian Constitution.
