There are differences in values attached to the work of males and females because each group has its own priorities. They differ from each other regarding what they care for most at their workplace.

Men often gave more importance status, authority, power, money/pay and benefits at work. On the other hand, women valued aspects such as communication, family and home, recognition and respect, friends and relationships, teams and collaboration, and fairness and equity more. Based on these parameters, there are differences in how a man or a woman attaches value to his/her work.

<b>There are differences in value attached to the work of male and female because:

* Most woman work much harder than their male counterparts.

* But the invisivilisation of woman's labour fails to get them their due share.

* The house work and child care are not considered as work.
