It's just isn't India! It's everywhere, the Southern winds blowing the or entire nation, we are strictly surviving on the mercy of them. Similarly for the countries who live in North are affected by Northern winds.
The dramatic and drastic changes in the climate is due to increase in green house gasses in the atmosphere. If I could give you an example, imagine a volcano lava flowing into the sea water, the amount of water vapor and carbon dioxide and smoke dioxide gas released into the atmosphere is approximately upto 1M Tons per day. Now imagine the same amount is released every hour in the metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata due to factories, industries and automobiles.
