There are no special guarantees for the majority because they maximum in number and they can't be treated badly as they compose the most of the population. But they may try to dominate the minority so, special guarantees are only for the minorities. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU

There are  no special guarantees for the majority since there would be certain people who would disagree on the issue and the majority consensus cannot be the basis for making political or legislative decisions.

Explanation:

  • Majority rule was necessary for expressing the popular will and the basis for establishing the republic but there would always be people who would disagree.
  • The principle of majority rule establishes a clear mechanism for making decisions and  a majority of 50 percent plus one decides an issue or when decisions are made more people are in favor than against.
  • The rights protect minorities from being oppression by the majority and they  ensure that the majority cannot do whatever it likes. Rights are guarantees which can be used when things go wrong.
