= The Characters in the Quran and Bible refer to the same people.
Islam originated when Ishmael (Ismail) was born. (son of Abraham/ Ibrahim through his concubine Hagar).
His lineage brought in the present Muslim community.
Atleast according to the Bible, this was the case.
Both the religions believe in One God, but not in the same God.
Jesus is considered a God in the Bible while he is the most important prophet Isa (PBUH) in the Quran.
This is a major example.
Both the religions talk about the same characters with differences of its own.
