To inherit any trait to the next generation, there must be change in the genetic material (DNA).As because the traits Acquired during the life span of an individual don't involve the germ cells (gametes) and genetic material (DNA), these traits can't be part of genes present in the gametes(male or female ),So these Acquired traits (example :-Calluses on fingers by playing guitar or Larger muscular size by exercises) can't be inherited to the next generation. Hope it helps. All the best.

Answer:
Traits are inherited during a lifetime cannot be inherited in the successive generation as the changes do not reflect in the DNA of the germ cells. For example, a cricket player cannot pass on his skills on to his next generation as the traits acquired during his lifetime are limited only to non-reproductive cells. However, any mutations in the germ cells can result in the new traits being acquired by the successive generation.
