the traits acquired by a person will not inhereted to the progeny because first that is not a trait it is regular practice by which person made himself capable of doing that. that is absolutely not encoded in that persons dna. like if father is good at cricket it's not necessary that his child also will be good at cricket its just all depends on practice during lifetime.
inherted traits are genetically encoded into the dna and that's why they transfer to the progeny unless the mutation did not occured
