Hi friend,
Tyres are made rough because to get grip.
If the tyres get grip, they turn property, break
immediately. if they are not rough, the friction will not rub the tyre and it will not be driven properly.
Here friction plays a very important role.
This is concept based question.

tyres are made rough to increase friction between is and ground so as to offer a better grip and a better control over the vehicle. This prevents skidding and slipping of the vehicle during turning and on wet roads. It also helps to stop the vehicle immediately after applying brakes.
