Very few plants are found in deserts because desert has a very difficult terrain and climate. A very few plants are able to adapt the desert conditions and survive in the hot and dry climate.

Hi frnd,
Here's Ur answer:
In desert very few few plants are found becoz plants need water, limited sunlight, food and many other things for survival...but important fact for survival is water.. many few plants can survive in desert because plants needs long roots to lie close surface to the ground to catch water for survival in dry regions like deserts..and desert plant can store water too then it's raining..
Hope this may be helpful to u... frndd
