Viruses are considered as being on the borderline of the living and nonliving things because they act as both living and nonliving things.when they are moving freely in the air and can enter in the body of any living organism they can affect its immune system and hence act as living organisms. They can be crystallized like sugar and salt and kept in the jar and that time they are act as a non living organism. hence, viruses are considered as being on the borderline of living and non-living organisms.
