Why are viruses considered to be on the borderline of living and non-living?

PLEASE ANSWER FAST!!!

because in the surroundings / atmosphere the viruses act as non - living ( they exist but show no features of living thing ) but as they enter a healthy and suitable host cell they behave like a living organism and perform living processes especially reproduction due to which they infect the host . So viruses are considered to be a borderline between living and non living .
