why are viruses not considered in the group of microbs ??

Answer:

They are not exactly living nor are they non-living.

Viruses live on the boderline of living and non-living beings.

They only reproduce when in host otherwise they are dormant.

This is the reason we can't exactly call them living beings but they are studied under microbiology.
