Vitamin A is essential to us because their deficiency in the diet causes hardening of cornea, i.e. xerophthalmia and night blindness. Their important sources are carrots, milk, fish, liver and butter.

If vitamin A is not in an appropriate amount then it will result in night blindness and xerophthalmia in which the eye cornea will be hardened.
Whereas the vitamin c will result in the scurvy problem that is mainly the bleeding of gums.
For vitamin A, doctor recommends butter, carrot, liver oil, etc.
whereas for vitamin C, it is better to have green leafy vegetable.
