A deficiency of Vitamin A results to a condition known as Xerophthalmia (dryness of the cornea and conjunctiva) which can lead to blindness. On the other hand, Vitamin C deficiency causes scurvy (bleeding of the gums).

Sources of vitamin A are sweet potatoes, kales, spinach, broccoli, carrots and butter. Vitamin C sources include pineapple, papaya, strawberries, watermelon and mango.

Hey !!

Vitamin A is essential for us because its deficiency can cause xerophthalmia (hardening of cornea of eye) and night blindness.

Sources :- Carrots , fish liver oil , butter and milk.

Vitamin C is essential for us because its deficiency causes scurvy (bleeding gums) and pyorrhea (loosening and bleeding of teeth).

Sources :- Amla , citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables.

Good luck !!
