◆ when we sip hot tea or milk from cup the rate of evaporation is low because less surface area is in direct contact with air.

◆ We know air takes away water molecules with it but in this case the molecules would not be able to come out of their position easily. hence, it is super hot to drink.

◆ when we use saucer the rate of evaporation increases which lower downs the temperature of milk or tea and it isn't that hot to drink.
