we areable to SIP hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather than a cup because the rate of evaporation takes much faster in sa user rather in cup

becoz  saucer covers large surface area

and rate of evaporation is directly proportional to surface area

hence tea starts cooling at high rate

and hence we are able to drink better from suacer
