Why are we not getting lateral displacement in the case of refraction through a triangular glass prism?

Explanation:

This is clear from the diagram as the emergant ray is not parallel to the incident ray after the second refraction. Hence we are not getting lateral displacement in the case of refraction through a triangular glass prism
