Wetland are the lands which are wet,boggy,marshy and sticky patch of area filled with water. We know that there are many wetlands in the world which is greatly helpful and good to our environment and us.

Why should we save wetlands ?

Wetlands helps us to prevent floods and hurricanes. The excessive water from any disaster or from environment are soaked by the wetlands which is really helpful to us. It also provide water to several living organisms and grazing animals. It also gives water to the crops which is not possible for us to fully complete the requirement of a crop by only the water that we give to the crops.

Thus,wetlands plays an important role whether in absorbing or giving water in that has saved us from overflowing or shortage of water.
