Why are women employed in low paid work ?

It all starts in childhood -- basically the moment a girl is born, is encased in that first pink onesie and lies back as a chorus of cooing adults tells her how pretty she looks.

Women in India have been discriminated with lower education opportunities and thereby causing them to have low job skills. Due to the lower job skills, they are given below paid jobs. Women are also discriminated when applying for high paying job and are paid lower than their male counterpart.
