Why are word processor prefered more than type writer

* If you make a mistake while typing in a word processor, there is a scope for correcting it, whereas if you make a mistake while writing with a typewriter, then there is no scope for its correction, and you have to start from a new page.

* Word processor provides you with many features like auto-correct, Find and replace, change font, change text color etc. which are not provided by a typewriter.
