We soil to the land so that it helps in growing the plant and helps in adding manure.

We add soil to grow plants better and without it plants cannot grow . It is important because :

  • It absorbs water as it is porus and time to time plants get water through roots.
  • It contains microorganisms and insects like earthworm which decompose the biodegradable wastes making it manure . Manure increases soil fertility and results in a productfull crop.
  • Soil contains essential nutrients like nitrogen which is needed for growth of a plant.
