Why argon shows monoatomic molecule( molecule means combining of two types of atoms. So, it should not a monoatomic. It should be diatomic ) ??

argon is a noble gas... it has stable electronic and it neither needs to lose electrons nor gain electrons.
since it is a chemical single element which standard at temperature and pressure. so it is monoatomic
