why arteries and right atrium have thick walls?

The ventricles of the heart have thickermuscular walls than the atria. This is because blood is pumped out of the heart at greater pressure from these chambers compared to the atria. Theleft ventricle also has a thickermuscular wall than the right ventricle, as seen in the adjacent image.

The arteries and right Atrium have thick walls as the blood is pumped out in them throughout the body so the pressure is very high so it is thick in wall
