Thick walls of arteries help them to resist the pressure of flow of blood in them. Arteries are elastic so as to produce enough pressure to push the blood and help it flow....

Hope it may help you .mark as brain list...

✨Why arteries have thick wall?

➡️Answer⬅️ :

<b>Arteries are thick walled because they need much pressure to pump the blood throughout the body and thick walls provide that pressure. The blood is in high pressure in them. Also, the pressure in our arteries is more than in veins as the blood has to reach throughout our body.
