There are basically three cadres in the IAF viz, Officers,PBORS or Airmen and Non-Combatant(E)(which is a group ‘D’ post).

For Airmen,you can apply for group ‘Y’ or Non-Technical posts with an arts 10+2.

For Officers, you can apply for Ground Duty Officers Course which includes Administration,Logistics and Air Traffic Controller posts.

For NC(E), you can very much apply.
