✔Because in asexual reproduction only one parent is involved and also crossing over does not take place therefore no variation can be seen in asexual reproduction.
Whereas in sexual reproduction two parents are involved and during meiosis in pachytene stage the male and female chromosomes undergoes crossing over where the genetic material are exchanged and hence produces genetic variability but this does not occur in asexual reproduction and hence does not produce the genetic variability.
