why atmosphere is called the exchange of gases

Answer:because atmosphere has too many gases it exchange like the Nitrogen gas come to ground where plant grow and to fertile the soil.... to respire like living organism all living organism respire that takes and the oxygen and take out the carbon dioxide in the nature or atmosphere

We know that during respiration of living beings and burning of materials, carbon dioxide is produced along with some other gases. Also CO2 used by the plants in the process of photosynthesis in which oxygen is released. All gases go into the atmosphere. Thus, it is a place in Nature for gaseous exchange.
