why atmosphere receives most of its heat through ground

Ground is solid, it absorbe heat from sunlight and realease it...

Ground comparatively hotter than air.. due to closenes in particles.

Actually we know heat is absorbed and emmiter faster by the solids than the gases ...thus ground is in solid state thus more heat is absorbed and given out from the ground to the atmosphere
