why atom is electrically neutral


zeborg: Atoms have symmetrical distribution on protons and electrons which are both oppositely charged, thus making them electrically neutral. Neutron is a chargeless component of the atom so it doesn't contribute to the neutrality of the atom.

because overall charge of atom is zero.atom is made up of proton which are positively charged.
and electrons are negatively charged and even non charged particles called neutrons
therefore atom is electrically neutral
