Answer:
Atomic hydrogen is obtained by dissociation of hydrogen molecule using electric arc.
This form of hydrogen is extremely reactive as it has very less life time. It combines quickly as soon as it is formed. During recombination to give hydrogen molecule large amount of energy is released. Because of this fact this process of disssociation and recombination of hydrogen is utilized in oxy-hydrogen torch.
Nascent hydrogen is obtained when Zinc reacts with sulphuric acid or by reducing agent. Thus, this form is also reactive because in this form H is unstable and for stability it combine with substance to be reduced or for other purpose but not so reactive.
