why atomic mases of some element are Not integers

Hello there..I'm Rajdeep.

The answer of the question is very difficult.
Atoms of the Same element with the same atomic number but different mass number are called isotopes. In this case (if isotopes of an element are present), then the atomic mass is calculated by taking the average of the mass number of two isotopes.

For example, consider chlorine. Chlorine has two isotopes, Cl35 and Cl37.

Its atomic mass is 35.5
