Why atomic size of 4d and 5d elements are similar?

3d transition elenta have their radius lower as compared to 4d and 5d elements ,but comparing 3d and 4d series , they have almost similar radius as well as similar physical and chemical properties.....because of the reason of lanthanoid contraction....
