Why atoms with large atomic radii and low ionisation potential are more metallic in nature ??

Atoms with large atomic radii and low ionisation potential are more metallic in nature because the loose their valence electrons easily. Nuclear pull on valence electron is less and since the ionization potential is small they can form a cation easily.. without absorbing much energy....:-)
