Answer:
As the covalent character increases the Lewis acid or electrophilic nature of compounds increases. Example : Al(OH)3 has more Covalent character as compared to NaOH or Mg(OH)2 because charge of aluminium is very high and size is small among all . So Al has strong polarising power.
