BCl3 is the stronger Lewis acid because the Boron center in BF3 participates in 2p(pi)-2p(pi) back bonding with the Fluorine atoms with a greater overlap thereby reducing it's deficiency.

Answer:

BCl3 is stronger acid than Bf3

Explanation:

BCl3 is stronger lewis acid than BF3 as BCl3 can form covalent bond which is strong when it interact with bases.

More energy is needed to break strong energy bond than BCl3 which is more interactive with bases as possess long weak bond.

BF3 have shorter wavelength which is not fully interactive with bases as the bond is short and strong .
