Honestly it's not necessary to learn about computers but as today's world has got most necessary activities online and in some ways it is becoming necessary to know about computers e.g. you have to fill a form then you have got two options either go to the place(school, college etc.) and fill the form or you can use the computer and fill your form at home(which will be more efficient as your time will be saved).
The world is continuously changing and we also need to change with it or we will be left behind.
Computers help us with various activities:
They make our work easier
Entertainment
Etc.
Computers are also used at offices, the mobile phone that we use is a miniature form of a table occupying computer.
Conclusion: Computers are everywhere having knowledge about them helps us a lot.
But if you don't want to have computer education you can go on (just the life would have been more easier with computers).
