why benzene have double bonds at alternate positions?​

It generally contains alternate double and single c-c bonds whereas the bond lengths are equal. This is mainly due to resonance and delocalization of pi-electrons which leads to its stability. The six pi-electrons gets delocalized between six carbon atoms in the ring provides stability to the benzene ring.
