Since 1948, he has been suffered from diabetes and he was bed-ridden from June to October in 1954 due to medication sideeffects and poor eye sight.
His health worsened during 1955 . Three days after completing his final manuscript , "The Buddha and His Dhamma" , he died in his sleep of 6 Dec 1956!!!
