why birds drink very little water as compared to human beings in terms of body weight ratio

Birds have no sweat glands so they need less water than humans. However they do not lose water through respiration and in their droppings. Most os small birds need to drink water twixe a day to replace the loss of water. Birds get liquid they need from their food and by drinking.
