HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER--

Q)why bleaching powder does not dissolve in hot water?

It is not completely soluble in water as it composed of heavy calcium salts, which are known to be insoluble in water. Bleaching powder is a mixed salt of calcium.it doesn't not completely dissolve in water due to lime in it !!

bleaching powder is actually a mixture of calcium chloride, calcium hydroxide and calcium hypochlorite. hence it is not a single salt. It is not completely soluble in water as it composed of heavy calcium salts, which are known to be insoluble in water.
