the boats do not sink in the water because the shape of the boats from the depth is such that it provide a huge amount of upthrust from water which is helpful to bear the weight of the ship

Answer:
Water supports a boat by pushing upwards on the bottom of the boat and therefore it does not sink. This is known as upthrust. The shape of a boat plays an important role in floating.
If you rolled some modelling clay / play dough in the shape of a ball it would sink; but if you mold it into the shape of a boat it should float.
