As NaCl is volatile in nature i.e. it does not evaporate on heating. When mixed with the solvent it covers the top layer of the sovent and colligate with the solvent molecules. Making low vapour and applying low vapour presseure and thus more heat is required to increase the V.P. and make it equal to the atm. pressure to boil the solution.
